Mandy was a great sport this year. Unfortunately scheduling forced us to make the big move west on her birthday. We did get the chance to head out to Houston’s for a nice dinner after the move to celebrate but both were too tired to really enjoy the night.
Sunday we drove down to SoCal to drop off one of our cars with my folks for the summer as parking is so pricey in the city. We had a nice mother’s day celebration and my family put together a real birthday party for Mandy. Our family several aunts and uncles all gathered at Grandma and Grandpa’s to celebrate. We had a great dinner, homemade ice cream, and cake. She was thrilled and very appreciative. She received the world’s largest assortment of scrapbooking supplies. I am looking forward to some cool scrapbooks after the summer is done!
