Well, after months of anticipation, weeks of preparation, and days of packing, studying, and cleaning we have made the move to San Francisco. This past Thursday our good friend Scott Wall came over and helped us load up the trailer which we drove all the way to Sacramento on Friday. Saturday morning we left Sacramento to drive the final 80 miles into the city and got all moved in.
Our place is great, we love it already. We are about 100 yards from the Bay itself and are fortunate to have a water view from our small little apartment. Only living in a studio will take some getting used to, we feel like we want to go into a bedroom and there isn’t one.
Scott was kind enough to come out to SF with us to help me unload. He flew back home late Saturday.
One thing that was really neat is that the night we moved in there was a huge fireworks spectacular right outside our window. They call it Kaboom! It is an annual event sponsored by a radio station and the fireworks were amazing. Just as we started to get too dreary eyed to head out to see the display we heard them starting to go off and realized our window had a perfect view. It was the perfect accent to our arrival in San Francisco. Good to be here…

we almost went to kaboom but kate was being a pill that day and we ended up staying home. that is so cool you could see it from your window, how perfect! welcome to the bay area!
Your place looks great! How fun to have so many fun places to go so close to you. Nice of San Fran to welcome you with fireworks!
