Hello to you all in the warm southern states! I am envious of you all. Northern California has been foggy and cold this past week. It puts a damper on things when you want to go for a walk and get outside to find it freezing out.
Well these last couple of days have been non eventful. The highlight of my day is when I get to see my wonderful husband right before he gets into bed. Matthew has been working very long hours. Sometimes I feel like I am his chauffer because he will call me at two in the morning to come pick him up at the office. This last weekend Matthew didn’t have to work long hours so we decided to walk to the farmers market, grab some lunch and take a drive along the beautiful coast. Although as we got closer to the PCH the fog came and you couldn’t see anything. So we turned back and went home to watch a movie. It was a fun drive while it lasted and a great way to spend my weekend with Matthew. It was a good thing we didn't stray far, Matthew had to go back into work at 10PM to throw together a last minute presentation for the next morning. He was there until 3:30...The Investment Banking Lifestyle I guess.
During my non busy days I just run errands for Matthew and attempt scrapbooking or quilting. With all this time on my hands I was able to update my journal. The last time I wrote in it was 2004. Sad huh? My last entry was when Matthew and I started dating. I thought it would be good to update it and mention that we got married and all the important events that have happened in our lives the past few years.
My parents come to San Francisco next week. Matthew and I are both really excited about that. I haven’t been with my dad on father’s day in a very long time. We are planning a fun party for him!!
That’s it for now! Love ya and miss you all!
