After two weeks of sheer misery we are now mostly recovered from the terrible plague that was the flu this year. I can’t ever remember the flu being as miserable as it was for us this year. BYU has been filled with people coming down with it, the past few weeks classrooms have been notably less filled and even teachers have been cancelling classes as they bout with the virus themselves.
Speaking of BYU we are both very excited that graduation is in 6 weeks, 5 days, 5 hours and 15 minutes…not that we are anxious or anything =)
For now we are busy with the task of de-junking as we prepare for our move to San Francisco. Going from a 2,200 sq. foot 3 bedroom townhome to a 700 sq. foot 1 bedroom apartment will definitely be an interesting transition. I thought the picture above represented the situation pretty well…except for Mandy and I are definitely in opposite roles. She is the one having difficulty parting with old belongings while I am on a DI-donation binge. If anybody out there knows anybody interested in picking up any furniture, a big screen TV or a new washer & dryer for cheap let us know…they will be hitting craigslist in the next week or so.
The temperature here is finally warming up and there is no longer any snow on the ground. I think we are both pretty thankful that we are moving to a part of the world where we will not have to contend with snow. California here we come!
