It is a pretty great feeling to be done with school, especially after having taken a few years off to pursue Informera. The feeling was very bittersweet. In one sense we were both ecstatic to be done and to be moving on, but it was also sad to say goodbye to friends and faculty to whom we had grown close. BYU was very good to both of us; hopefully we can return the favor in the future.
We have been pretty bad about updating the blog as we have been on a virtual two week road trip that we will have to write about. Basically we graduated, hosted a bunch of family in town for the festivities and then drove to San Francisco to apartment hunt and drop off our stuff in storage. From San Francisco we went down to ‘The OC’ to visit my folks and sister as well as start my GMAT course. After a few days we got in the car again and drove out to Dallas where Mandy will be based most of the summer doing medical work.
Hopefully we can get back on track with the blog again. As for now… I am flying back and forth from So-Cal to Dallas all summer as I take a GMAT course in LA while Mandy will be holding down the fort in Texas fulltime. We are both really excited to be coming to New York together in July for the start of training at Goldman.
