We spent the 4th of July in Orange County with the Miller’s. We had a great family dinner and then went to the Disneyland Parking Garage to watch the fireworks show. From the top of their garage we could see shows all over Orange County and had a front row seat for the one at Disneyland itself.
The rest of the week was filled with major R&R as this would be our last time in SoCal before we join the investment banking world. I did a lot of scrapbooking with Megan and Matthew did some serious shopping for new work clothes at Nordstrom. It was the week before the big sale, but our buddy Brian was able to take us to all these back rooms in the store and let us get a first pick at the soon to be on sale merchandise. It was so nice to not have to deal with the crowd and to shop just the two of us. I wish shopping was always like that. We pre-ordered our sale items and left with smiles on our faces.
We had such a great time with Matthew’s family and can’t wait to see them again. Thanks for everything!
