I Love Him For Trying
Yesterday Matthew wanted to show how much he loved me by doing the dishes. Most of you know this isn't a new thing for him because he helped out around the house tremendously when we lived in Utah. Although he has been redeemed of those duties due to his long strenuous work hours I figured he still knew how to do the dishes. So I went about doing my own thing in the other room not thinking much of it. Time had passed, Matthew was speaking to his mother on the phone and I was reading a book. While reading I felt like I needed to go in the other room for something so I did. When I walked into the kitchen I saw bubbles overflowing from the dishwasher. Luckily I came in when I did because by that time only half the kitchen floor was covered in water and bubbles. I quickly turned off the dishwasher, opened the door and noticed the dishwasher was filled with bubbles as well. Turns out Matthew used regular dawn soap thinking it was dishwasher fluid. All I could do was laugh at the situation. It wasn’t until after I cleaned up the floor that I realized I needed to document this silly mishap of his. I really do love him for trying!

oh my gosh, how funny! That was sweet of him to try to do the dishes!
That is so funny! I can see Luke doing the exact same thing. :)
haha!! How sweet! That happened to me in college-one of my roommates used regualr dish soap. But we did not catch it in time-it filled the whole kitchen!
So cute!!! You gotta love these little moments in life that just make you smile!
Love it.
I guess he needs more practice, eh?! jk. What a fun memory!
