Bassham Bash - Day 1

A little over a week ago Ryan and Marissa came to visit. We had such a great time! Matthew had to work throughout the day but would meet up with us for some delicious dinners. Friday morning we woke up early and headed to Alcatraz. This was my second time going and it was just as good as the first. A seasonal nature trail was open this time around and it was pretty cool. The trail had some great views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge. After Alcatraz we walked to Fisherman’s Wharf and did a little shopping. Marissa found her lefty store and then we enjoyed the sea lions. Ryan and Marissa had some crab, shrimp and oysters. I just watched since I am not a fan of seafood. We then had some yummy ice cream at Ghirardelli Square and took a trolley ride to Union Square. We did a little more shopping and then walked through China Town. China town was very interesting. By the time we walked through China Town our legs were so tired we took a cab back to the apartment and got ready for dinner. We picked Matthew up from work, drove around the Marina and had dinner at Osha. This place was so good! It had such a cool atmosphere and as Matthew likes to say the food was phenomenal. We sat in the bar lounge area for about an hour and had some fun non alcoholic drinks and appetizers. I wish we got a picture of the lounge because the decorations were so cool. After dinner we drove around and showed Ryan and Marissa more of the city. When we got home I think it took them only five minutes to fall asleep. I wore them out. Especially Ryan.
