Easter Weekend

We had a nice Easter weekend. On Friday Matthew worked and I drove to Menlo Park to meet up with my friend, Whitney for lunch. It was great to see her and catch up on everything. That night Matthew and I decided to drive to the mission and have dinner at Little Star Pizza. Matthew’s hair dresser had recommended this place so we thought we would try it out. Why not, right? When we got there it was crawling with local hipsters waiting to eat some Chicago style deep-dish pizza. The wait was definitely worth it. The pizza was delish and the cheesecake was to die for.

Saturday we spent the first part of the day at the farmers market. We love grabbing breakfast sandwiches and supporting our local farmers. Afterwards Matthew went back to work for the rest of the day so he wouldn’t have to go into work at on Sunday.

On Sunday after church there was an Easter parade/carnival going on in the Marina so we decided to walk over there and check it out. Afterwards we walked all the way down to the water and enjoyed the beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. It was a great Easter weekend spent just with each other.
