Family + Friends + BYU = Awesome Weekend

This was probably the best Labor Day weekend we have had in a while. Thursday we flew down Texas to visit family and go to the BYU game in the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium. The stadium is absolutely incredible and the game was unbelievable!! This game will be talked about for a very long time. Walking into the stadium and seeing the sea of red was so intimidating. When victory game for the Cougars our corner of blue made noise that filled the stadium. The feeling inside that stadium was indescribable. It truly was an amazing game and we are so glad we got to be a part of it. Besides witnessing the best cougar win in history, we got to see friends and family. Highlights would be seeing the Riggs and Richmond family, Grandpa in the hospital (he is ok now), Marissa taking our pictures, seeing the Jones family and meeting Kallie for the first time. She is adorable and we absolutely love her! Not that she needs our approval but she has it! We had such a fun time in Texas and we can’t wait to go back for Christmas!! See you then!

The Stadium

Jake, Gary, Matthew, Me, Dad, Mom, Marissa and Ryan

The guys having fun and dad busy eating his ice cream.
We went up to the 4th floor so we could walk all away around the stadium.

I timed this picture perfectly! Yes, I am that good.

We had to say hello to the Jones family at the game!

BYU on the field with the sea of red in the background.

Victory!!

Do you see Gary and Jake? They literally had front row tickets!

Do you see them now? I do!

Gramps and Grams were kind enough to watch Sophie while we were at the game.

Jakes bbq and swimming birthday party.

The McCuistions never had a sprinkle cupcake before so we had to take them while we were in highland park. Yes, Jaxen got his own cupcake and he loved it!
