North Shore

Thursday we spent the day exploring the North Shore. We stopped at the Dole Plantation (lots of pineapple), shared a snow cone at Matsumoto, battled the huge waves at Waimea Bay (surf's up), hiked to the Waimea Waterfall and watched the turtles ride the waves at Turtle Beach. The North Shore was gorgeous and my favorite location on Oahu. By the end of the day we were back in Waikiki. We spent our last night walking around the shops and grabbing some food. It was bitter sweat knowing it was our last night in Hawaii.

Friday morning we woke up early and headed to the beach one last time before taking off that afternoon. It was so hard to leave but grateful we had the opportunity to spend so much time together in paradise. Instead of saying "goodbye" we said "see you later Hawaii" knowing we will definitely be coming back soon.

Just got caught up on your Hawaii posts- looks like you guys had a great time! We did a lot of similar things on our trip there last year so it brought back some fun memories. I think you guys even did the same waterfall hike. I love the pic of you in your red swimsuit cover up at the beach. Very cute!
