Ciao From Italy.

We finally made it to Italy! It was beautiful, charming, majestic, freezing (record temps), historical, educating and the food was scrumptious!! I seriously can't describe how much I enjoyed this trip. Venice, Florence, and Rome are so different from each other and unique in their own way. We connected in Frankfurt, Germany on our way to Venice. Venice was by far my favorite. I loved walking around losing myself in all of its charm. Everywhere you turn was a picturesque moment.  Florence was much smaller than we imagined. It is flooded with art history! Not to mention the food in Florence was top notch. It was delicate and decadent and oh so yummy. I still can't figure out how Italians eat pasta as a first course everyday and stay thin! I like the way Rick Steves describes Rome best. Bella chaos. Beautiful chaos. Picture yourself walking in a big city with modern day buildings and then bam, you see this majestic ancient building.

Warning...I took thousands of photos on this trip which made it difficult to decided which ones to share. To the few who read this blog and the next few posts, I hope it isn't to much of an overload.

Here is a sneak peak...
