Best birthday weekend ever.

Matthew was full of surprise this year for my birthday. First, he flew my parents into town for the weekend. I haven't' spent a birthday with my family in a while or seen my mom on Mother's day so it was a double treat.

The day of my birthday he had me open some gifts which was a new outfit that mostly consisted of white including some shiny new Sperrys. I thought it was a little funny but I went with it. We then just started walking along King/Embarcadero and then all of a sudden he turned onto a pier where all my friends were waiting along with a sailboat! I've never been sailing and have always been telling Matthew how fun it would be to do here in SF.  I had the best time with all my friends and family and I can't thank them enough for coming. Sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge and being sung happy birthday will always be a memory a will cherish. The day ended with a scrumptious dinner at Tres Agaves.

The following day was Mother's Day. This was the first Mother's Day I had spent with my mom since leaving for college. It was great to spend it with her again and to let her know how much I appreciate her as a mother and for all that she has done for me and will continue to do for me. I love you mom!

Thank you, Matthew for a wonderful and unforgettable birthday. And thank you family and friends for coming and making it that much more special.
