Lately I have been wanting to get more involved in the community. There are a two walks in the bay area this year (July 11-12 & October 2-4).
I would love to participate in one of them.
Does anyone want to do it with me?
Has anyone ever done one of these before and have any advice?

I have a friend who's sister lives in the bay area, she is going there for the 3 day breast cancer walk. I'm sure they have room on their team if you wanted to walk with them. She is super nice, and she is traveling there from NM, if your at all interested I can give you her e-mail address. She asked me if i wanted to do it, but there's just no way i could. I hope you find something fun, and exciting to try!

I guess how it works is you form a team, everyone fund raises to raise a certain amount of money, and then you all walk. I don't have the dates, but her sister did it last year and loved it. I hope it works out for you! Good luck
