Christmas Eve was a great day. It is always fun to be around so much family. Here are the highlights...
- Last minute Christmas shopping (for the guys...such procrastinators)
- Baking goodies
- Getting extended family gifts wrapped and gathered (this is a process since we have so much family in the area)
- Snow (This is a big deal in Texas!)
- Matthew arrives in Dallas (It was a close call this year but he made it. Those that know the banking industry understand what I mean.)
- Big family gathering at the Riggs household which included a delicious dinner
- Family gathering at the Richmond household (The number grew by 2 this year. Miken and Marissa, welcome to our crazy family.)
- Opened up gifts from our extended family (tradition)
- Opened up our pajamas (tradition)
- Went to bed like good little girls and boys so Santa could come

You look gorgeous Mandy. Really. You Do.
Love all the pics. It was a good Christmas, huh?
I am looking a little hefty in those pics...
looks like a fun trip! i do love my camera- its a nikon D3000. its one of the cheapest SLRs you can buy but since i'm just a beginner it works great for me. even in auto mode i like the pictures way better than my old camera, it would be great for hawaii. i also got an extra zoom lens to go with it which would be good to get for hawaii too so you can take pictures of things that are far away. the only downside to an SLR camera is it's bigger to lug around, and you'd have to be pretty careful with it at the beach. but you should do it!
It looks like you guys had a fun Christmas. All your great pictures make us miss you guys and your family and Texas.
