Aloha, Kia Ora'anna, Talofa, Malo e lelei

Tuesday morning we woke up early to have breakfast at Hula grill and watch the sunrise. It was beautiful and the food was scrumptious! After stuffing our tummy's with food we headed our way to Laie. On the way we stopped at Pali lookout and Laie Point. Both sites were absolutely breathtaking. The Laie Hawaii Temple was our next stop. Sadly the temple was under major construction so we just walked around the grounds and watched a video at the visitor center about the history of Laie. It's is such a gorgeous temple and hopefully next time we will be able to do a session. Afterwards we had to check out BYU-Hawaii because it was so close! The campus is beautiful and I can see why it would be a lot of fun to attend during the summer. The Polynesian Cultural Center was our main and final stop in Laie. We absolutely loved the PCC!! This was my second time and Matthew's first to visit the PCC. It was so fun to learn about the different cultural's and see how passionate the students are about their heritage. We had a chance to learn about Somoa, Tonga, New Zealand and Fiji. We also watched the Canoe Pageant, attended the Luau, and went to the evening show Ha: Breath of Life. I was sad that we didn't get a chance to learn about Tahiti. It is definitely one of my favorite to watch. The Tahitian dance is awesome! Those girls know how to move their hips!! Everything about the PCC was fantastic and we can't wait to go back!!
