Another Day In Paradise

Sunday morning we slept in a little and then headed straight to China Town. Matthew read in one of the tourist books that it was a must see. Well in my opinion it was a must don't. It was not that impressive. Of course we were there so we took a look around. We wandered into some of the grocery type stores and all I can say is yuck. I couldn't even tell you what I saw because it was the strangest food I had ever seen. The plus side to China Town were the floral shops. They had some of the prettiest lei's and I love the one Matthew bought for me. Once we were done walking around we could not find a cab anywhere. You guessed it. We walked the 3 miles to the mall. Can you say blisters? Blisters. Ouch.

When we finally reached the mall we grabbed lunch, shared a huge snow cone and did some shopping. After the shopping we grabbed a cab back to the hotel and spent the rest of our afternoon at the beach soaking in the sun. In two ours I was burnt to a crisp and Matthew still looked like he had never seen the light of day. We quickly got me out of the sun and headed to the hotel bar for some pina coladas. This is a must when you are at the beach. After our tasty refreshment we headed back in and got ready (this was a painful process for me since I was burnt head to toe - well not literally, for some reason my face got no color in those two ours) for our dinner reservation at Wolfgangs. This place was so good! I would put it on my top 5 list of steak restaurants I have eaten at. After dinner we called it a night. We were tired. Who wouldn't be after all that walking. Sheesh.

ouch on your sunburn! That's the worst... But, the view from laying out and those pina coladas look absolutely amazing. Can I go there please?
