NYC

Matthew and I met up in NY( JFK to be exact and his flight was 3 hours delayed I might add) for his week of training. Once again this landed on our Anniversary. No pouting here ladies and gents. What better place to be than in the Big Apple to celebrate 5 happy years of marriage. We absolutely love NYC. Matthew enjoyed his training since it was more managerial than finance based while I walked along the streets of Manhattan. The morning of our Anniversary he surprised me with a rose gold Michael Kors watch. Later that night we went to Ruth's Chris (which was one of the places he took me when we first visited NY together while dating) and then went to Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. It was great to see it again after seeing Love Never Dies in London. Eating at Shake Shack, having dinner with friends, walking around Times Square and seeing another Broadway show, Memphis Beat, were just a few other things we enjoyed. We had a lovely time and NY was a great way to end our month of traveling before heading back to the grueling world of investment banking. Happy Anniversary Love! You are the best!

1. Glad you were in NYC! I love that city, too. What a fun way to celebrate.
2. Jealous! I love his new rose gold watches! That and the tortoise shell one are next on my list :)
