A SF Giants Birthday Celebration

This year for our birthday's we wanted to go out with a big bang since this was the last year to celebrate sans baby. We thought what better way than to celebrate with all our great friends at a San Francisco Giants game. Thanks to all who came and made it such a blast. And thank you Matthew for another memorable birthday celebration. I'm going to make the last year in my twenties count...by becoming a mother! 

World Series 2012

The San Francisco Giants did it again. They swept the World Series against the Detroit Tigers. We of course took advantage of the fact that it was just a block from our apartment and went to Game 2. 

A week later they had a victory parade in the city. I went with a friend and her two kiddos. It was a fun adventure!

Dad came to work and play.

My Dad came into town to help me build a few things and hang some pictures after we were a little more settled in the new apartment. To thank him we took him to a Giants game and they clenched the Western Conference Championship that night. Thanks Dad for all your help! Especially for not breaking my bookcases :) You are the best and well always love your visits. Come back soon. 

Quick Fun

We always have so much fun when these two come to visit. It gives us a chance to play "tourist" in the bay area. We sported orange and black at the Giants game, had brunch at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, drove around the beautiful vineyards in Napa, shopped, went for walks in the neighborhood and tried out a couple new restaurants, Waterbar (SF) and Celadon (Napa).

I love that my parents visit periodically through out the year and enjoy exploring San Francisco. Some days it's hard living so far away from home and family. Do you think I can convince them to move to SF? Probably not, but that's ok! I love visiting my Texas roots!

Who is next to visit? Oh wait, it's the Bassham bunch in November!! Happy face.

World Series Parade

So Whitney and I decided to embark on the adventure of going to the Giants World Series parade. I am so glad we went! The crowd was insane but it was fun to be around all that energy. It was a little hard to see over people since I am so short but it was fun to be there when everyone started cheering for the players. Congrats again to the San Francisco Giants! It was a fun experience living in the city while you became the World Series Champs!
