Muir Woods and Marin Headlands

Matthew finally made it to Muir Woods and the Marin Headlands after 5 years in the city!  We both thought it was time to make the drive up north before moving out of the city. 

It turned out to be a clear warm sunny day in the bay area. It was perfect weather to stroll through the redwood trees and view that city of ours we are so sad to leave.

Moms Are The Best

Mama Sue came to visit. We were able to celebrate my birthday & Mother's Day a little early with each other. We always have a fun time exploring the city, shopping & trying new restaurants. Shopping in the Marina, taking a Bay Cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge & having some heart to heart conversations during our morning walks along the bay were the highlights for me.

My mom couldn't have come at a better time. Not because the weather was absolutley perfect while she was in town but because I was in a rut. She said sweet things, gave great advice & helped me come out. I am truely grateful to have her & her example in my life. I literally owe her everything. She has helped shape me in to the person that I am today. I am not perfect by any means but I like to think that I have turned out pretty good & have much to look forward to in the future. Thanks for being you Mom. You are the best Mother out there for me! Happy Mothers Day!
