The graveside service was held in Salt Lake City where the Miller Family plots are located. Diane was buried near her father who died a few years ago. Many family and friends traveled a long distance to say their final goodbyes to Diane. It was such a beautiful service that showed just how many lives Diane had touched while here on this earth.

Kona
For Memorial Weekend we went back to Kona. This is by far one of our favorite resorts to visit in Hawaii. As Matthew likes to put it... "you leave feeling so relaxed it's as if your body/muscles are about to fall off your bones."
We had an actual baby moon planned in June/July but due to Diane's passing this trip became just that. And it was a wonderful and relaxing baby moon we will always remember.

Las Vegas
Matthew's work offsite was in Las Vegas this year and I met up with him for the weekend. We...
stayed at the Wynn / tried new restaurants / shopped / saw Le Reve / had lunch with family that lives in the area / enjoyed the strip at night / even caught up on some extra needed sleep / endured the scorching Las Vegas heat

Waiela
Hawaii happens to be our quick getaway spot for those extended holiday weekends so when President's Day came around we flew on over to Maui. We started the trip off arriving on Valentines Day and were greeted with leis around our necks and roses in the hotel room that Matthew surprised me with.
The majority of our stay was all about relaxing and unplugging from the world. We ate delicious food, spent time at the spa and soaked in some sun. The big adventure this trip was going on a whale watching boat tour. We went out at 6 am and saw some pretty awesome action and of course the really cool stuff I wasn't quick enough to get on camera. We saw a breach (full jump out of the water) , tail slapping, two males fighting over a female ect. We saw a little bit of everything and felt lucky that we saw so much since these tours can be hit or miss.
And now for the photo dump...

Christmas in Orange County
This year we spent Christmas in Orange County with Matthew's family. We enjoyed the good memories we were able to have this year with family and friends. Some of the fun things we did included:
- Family dinner at the Filling Station in old town Orange
- Christmas gifts on Christmas and Christmas Eve
- Home cooked turkey dinner with the family
- Les Miserables - such an incredible film
- Dinner w/ Brian, Melissa, Peter & Shannon at Houston's in Orange County
- A day at Disneyland with Craig & Diane (can't wait to go back again)
